New Data
Records for manuscript objects held by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and Princeton University have been added to the DS Catalog. This now brings the DS Catalog to over 16,000 records representing 38 different institutions/collections.
The Bibliographical Society’s Council’s Choice
DS was highlighted as The Bibliographical Society’s Council’s Choice for January 2025, noting the DS Catalog as an “increasingly indispensable portal into North American repositories of medieval and early modern manuscripts.” Features mentioned in their praise of the DS Catalog included its coverage of institutions of all sizes as well as its user-friendly interface and ability to conduct deeper querying through linked data technologies.
